Indeed, the Scriptures reveal that God transcends space and time, an eternal being not confined by the physical universe. In the book of Psalms, David proclaims, “Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God” (Psalm 90:2). This passage suggests God’s existence before the creation of the world and His eternal nature.
Additionally, in the book of Isaiah, God declares, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End” (Isaiah 44:6). These titles signify God’s omnipresence and omnipotence, existing beyond the bounds of time as we understand it.
The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Colossians, speaks of Christ’s supremacy, saying, “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together” (Colossians 1:17). This further underscores the Christian belief in God’s existence beyond the physical and temporal limitations of our universe.
Therefore, through the witness of Scripture, it is affirmed that God exists outside of space and time, an infinite Being to whom the concepts of “before” and “after,” “here” and “there,” do not apply as they do within the created order.
