“Made concubines (Ma Malakat Aymanukum)”, is found in Surah Al-Ahzab (33:50):

“Prophet, We have made lawful for you the wives to whom you have given their dowers, and those whom your right hand possesses, whom God has given you as spoils of war…”

(Ma Malakat Aymanukum is the Arabic phrase used in this verse, which translates to “those whom your right hand possesses”)

This verse is often interpreted as allowing Muslim men to take female prisoners of war as concubines.
