In moments of fatigue and distress, turning to prayer can offer solace and strength. While the Bible does not contain a specific prayer labeled for fighting fatigue and night demons, it does offer principles of seeking God’s protection and comfort. Here is a prayer inspired by biblical truths:

Dear Heavenly Father,

In the quiet of the night, when shadows lengthen and my body grows weary, I come before You seeking rest and peace. You, O Lord, are my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). As fatigue seeks to overwhelm me and fears loom in the darkness, I remember Your promise that You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2).

Lord, in the name of Jesus, I ask for Your protection from the fears and anxieties that attack at night. Your Word says, “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety” (Psalm 4:8). Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

I rebuke the night terrors and any spirits that seek to disturb my rest. You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Help me to cast all my anxieties on You because You care for me (1 Peter 5:7).

Refresh me with Your presence. Fill my room with Your angels, and let Your Holy Spirit be a comforting blanket over me. “He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Psalm 91:11).

As I lay down to sleep, I put my trust in You, Lord. Renew my strength, so I may wake refreshed and ready to serve You. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

In Jesus’ name, I pray,

Amen.

Remember, the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). May He grant you rest and peace.
