The Apostle Paul, addressing the diverse beliefs in the city of Athens, proclaimed, “The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything” (Acts 17:24-25). This illustrates the Christian view that God’s existence and truth are not confined to any one culture or religious tradition, but are universal, transcending time and human history.

It’s important to approach discussions about differing religious beliefs with respect and compassion, recognizing that God’s love reaches out to all people. The Bible teaches that God desires “all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). In sharing the Christian faith, it is encouraged to do so with love, gentleness, and respect, reflecting the character of Jesus Christ.

In conversations about faith and truth, it’s also essential to listen and seek to understand where others are coming from, always ready to share the hope found in Christ, but doing so with the gentleness and respect that honors the other person and their journey.
